Tokyo Olympics 2020: సెమీస్‌కు పీవీ సింధు.. ట్విటర్‌లో ప్రశంసల వర్షం
సాక్షి, హైదరాబాద్: టోక్యో ఒలింపిక్స్‌ క్వార్టర్‌ ఫైనల్‌లో విజయం సాధించి సెమీస్‌లోకి అడుగుపెట్టిన పీవీ సింధుకు ప్రశంసల వర్షం కురుస్తోంది. కూతురి అద్భుత ప్రదర్శనపై ఆమె తండ్రి రమణ హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. యమగూచిపై పీవీ సింధు విజయం అనంతరం ఆయన హైదరాబాద్‌లోని స్వగృహంలో మాట్లాడుతూ.. ఇవాళ జరిగినక్వార్టర్ ఫైనల్ మ్యాచ్ లో సింధు ఒత్తిడిని జయించి విజయం సాధించిందని అన్నారు.
మ్యాచ్ ప్రారంభం నుంచి ప్రత్యర్ధిపై సింధు చాలా బాగా ఆడిందని పేర్కొన్నారు. తన కూతురి విజయంలో కోచ్‌ సహా అందరి సమష్టి కృషి ఉందని రమణ తెలిపారు. సింధు దేశానికి మంచి పేరు తెస్తున్నందుకు ఆనంద పడుతున్నాని ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సెమీస్‌లో కూడా సింధు విజయం సాధిస్తుందనే నమ్మకం ఉందని ఆయన ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
కాగా శుక్రవారం జరిగిన సింగిల్స్‌ క్వార్టర్‌ ఫైనల్‌లో జపాన్‌కు చెందిన యమగూచిపై 21-13, 22-20తో విజయం సాధించి సెమీఫైనల్లోకి ప్రవేశించింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా పలువురు ప్రముఖులు, క్రీడాభిమానులు ఆమెపై ప్రశంసల వర్షం కురిపిస్తున్నారు. కేంద్రమంత్రి పీయూష్‌ గోయల్‌ , కేంద్రమంత్రి కిషన్‌రెడ్డి, అస్సాం ముఖ్యమంత్రి హిమంత బిస్వ శర్మ, జగ్గీ వాసుదేవ్ ట్విట్టర్‌ వేదికగా అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.
